The services include food, housing, means of transportation and free clothes and health care.
Food for three days, household sundries, bedding and rent assistance
Any person who is in Wooster for a minimum of 90 days has the right to apply for free, long-term assistance that includes a three-day supply of food, soap, toilet paper, clothes and blankets, rent assistance and payment help for prescription medications. The person also needs to provide proper photo identification and a social security number. An interested individual needs to show proof of living in Wooster for 90 days, such as a paycheck stub or a rent receipt. A person who has not had residency in Wooster for at least 90 days, however, is still eligible to receive emergency food supplies at no cost plus free clothes.
People to People Ministries is an organization filled with compassionate individuals who believe that every individual deserves to eat food and wear clean clothes. The organization does not receive any money from governmental agencies, and monetary donations are always welcome. Individuals who want to contribute are encouraged to donate needed items that include food, tooth brushes, laundry detergent and similar household goods that are then distributed to those in need.
