Wooster High School's Athletic Achievements

Wooster High School is located in Wooster, Ohio. The school features a number of athletic activities for all students. They offer athletics for every season of the year.
Athletics department
The athletics department at Wooster offers programs for both boys and girls as well as varsity cross country for all. The programs offered for both boys and girls are swimming, basketball and soccer. Programs only for boys are football, wrestling, and golf, and the girls only programs include tennis and volleyball. Each program meets at different times and dates throughout the school year.
Achievements 2004-2011
Wooster has won a variety of OCC Championships over the years. The boys' Wooster soccer team won the OCC for the 2006-2007 school year and the 2010-2011 school year, while the boys' football team won the championship from 2004-2007. The girls' team has also won OCC Championships for volleyball and soccer. They even won an OCC during the 2006-2007 school year for girls softball and cheerleading when the programs were offered. The cross country, girls soccer, golf, basketball and wrestling teams were also OCC Champions throughout the years.
Other achievements
Wooster High School as a whole has a few achievements. The school won the Academic Challenge Award during the 2006-2007 school year. The school was also the All-Sports Champion during the 2003-2004 school year. Both of these accomplishments are recognized since they are given to the best teams in the region. Wooster High School received a high recognition since they appeared the most time at national speech and debates. They attended 61 appearances in the 1930s alone.
